Avast ye mateys - this show features rollicking sea chanteys! Sail the high seas of fun and learn about real life pirates through Painted Sky Opera’s newest contribution to opera’s seven seas. Featuring the delightful music of Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Pirates of Penzance, The Pirate Project! tells the true story of famous pirates throughout history. Both landlubbers of all ages and old seadogs alike will enjoy an interactive show that encourages them to dance and sing along.

The performances of The Pirate Project! at Civic Center Music Hall feature an expanded version of Painted Sky Opera’s touring show featuring extra material and a small live orchestra, plus added activities after the show and a chance to meet and take photos with the cast.

Performed fully staged with a small instrumental ensemble and sung in English. Estimated length is 45 minutes plus interactive activities after the performance.
